I’m a thirty something wife and mom who decided homeschooling was the way to go six months after my first daughter was born. I stay home because for my family, it works. I love to cook and seriously told my husband that I will stay home, homeschool and raise the girls if in return I can one day cook for a living. Now I have 15 years to hone my skills! We are currently living near Sacramento California and it has been a nice change from central California and Los Angeles. It’s actually a perfect mix of urban life with an emphasis on family – great for a city girl turned Mommy. I love sushi. I grew up on the Coast of California and living in the middle of the state makes me miss the ocean. My guilty pleasure is celebrity gossip. Both of my daughters were born without pain meds. I love to play games. I am very competitive though I will compliment a game well played. I hate ironing. I learned to wakeboard this summer and LOVE IT. My husband and I went to Europe on our honeymoon and have a dream of returning one day with our daughters. I drive a small car which I used to kind of hate but now that gas is outrageous, I’m glad. I love my children, but there is something so nice about bedtime. Of course, nothing beats seeing their fresh, beautiful faces first thing in the morning.
